Purge gas systems

Use of purge gas is a good way of improving weld quality. The quality of pipe welds is improved by removing all gas contaminants from the weld area. You need to have the right equipment for this. There are several different purging techniques: Screwed or rubber plugs and inflatable stoppers, used alongside other accessories: Water-soluble film, tape, trailing shields and pressure regulators.
