Torch for gouging steel. Allows the use of gouging electrodes (ARCAIR rods) with diameters from 6 to 13 mm.
The K4000 clamp is particularly robust with an ABS plastic handle, brass jaws, and composite material guards.
Torch ready to use, length 2.1 m, equipped with a 1/4-turn DIX connector (current) with 70 mm² current cable, and a claw-type AIR connector (compressed air).

Suitable for arc-air gouging work. To operate, you will need:
- a self-powered welding unit 500 A - 600 A or
- an electric welding machine (380 V three-phase) with power from 400 A to 800 A. See our rental machines
- a compressed air supply (compressor or network)
- gouging electrodes (Available in Diameters 6, 8, 10, 13 mm)
The ARCAIR process involves risks related to:
- Significant radiation (IR/UV): a shade 13 filter is recommended in your welding helmet.
- Molten metal splashes: leather PPE is necessary: hand, body, foot, eye, and respiratory protection
