The SC Profi by Schnorrer is a high-end purge solution for industrial pipes ranging from Ø13 mm to Ø215 mm. Delivered as a single, complete unit, there’s no risk of missing parts – setup is quick and dependable on-site.

Each model features patented triple-sealing lip elements that create a perfect gas-tight seal, even inside tight elbows. This advanced design guarantees laminar flow, eliminating turbulence behind the weld and significantly reducing purge times. Result: no weld discoloration and substantial gas savings.

Three types of connection shafts are available: solid for straight pipes, flexible for elbows, and spring for navigating multiple consecutive bends. Models from Ø17 to Ø45 mm come with a spring shaft by default; larger diameters are fitted with a flexible one.

The gas diffuser is made from sintered metal and integrated into the inlet disc for uniform gas distribution and long service life. UV- and heat-resistant discs withstand up to 340°C for 1 hour, making them suitable for demanding welding conditions.

Compatible with TIG, MIG/MAG, and plasma welding processes. Recommended flow rate is 10% of the pipe’s internal diameter, and 20% for titanium.
