Allows a significant and homogeneous diffusion of the shielding gas during welding. Suitable for welding stainless steels. Improves the bath, and the appearance of the bead after welding (pink colour).

Exists for tungsten diameter 1.6 to 3.2 mm.

Pure tungsten electrodes are used for TIG welding, they are designed without additives for welding aluminum and its alloys with good arc stability. This type of electrode is not suitable for direct current welding.
