They are available with or without ARPF (flashback arrestors, flame arrestors, or check valves), with 90°, 120°, or 180° heads, equipped with a trigger or valves, with or without shielding. Finely crafted, they come with a 2-year warranty.

For the entire range of LE LORRAIN torches, quality and durability are emphasized. This extensive line includes welding torches, cutting torches, low-pressure and high-pressure torches. LE LORRAIN low-pressure torches are available in a variety of models to suit the user: oxygen-acetylene or oxygen-propane/LPG, simply install the appropriate cutting head. High-pressure cutting torches

LE LORRAIN high-pressure cutting torches are especially recommended for users working in tough conditions or for less experienced users. The heating gas mixture occurs in the cutting head. It is advisable to choose the cutting head according to the gases used and the thickness to be cut.

Oxy-acetylene torch

Oxy-acetylene torches using the oxy-fuel cutting method are among the most popular tools for separating low-alloy and low-carbon metals. The metal cutting process involves heating the material to a temperature at which it burns upon contact with the torch and vaporizes as metal oxide. This effect is only possible through the use of properly constructed torches that can mix oxygen with specific proportions of fuel gas.

Fuel gases can include materials such as acetylene and propane-butane. Due to its ability to reach higher temperatures more quickly and maintain them longer, acetylene cutting is a highly efficient method. Moreover, significant advantages of oxy-acetylene torches include their mobility—allowing for cutting at various angles—their ability to deliver high-quality cuts even on thick sheets, and the potential to mechanize cutting processes with their use. This metal processing method is applied across many industries—from small workshops to large production facilities. Thanks to its versatility, oxy-fuel cutting can be used for machining cast iron, brass, bronze, steel, and other metal alloys, as well as for heating, burning, and brazing.

How does an oxygen-acetylene torch work?

The essence of gas welding lies in heating the material to a temperature at which it is altered by an oxygen-acetylene flame through a change in its physical state. This method allows not only for the separation of steel components up to 300 mm thick, but also for their permanent joining. The results and cutting quality vary depending on the choice of torch. The smaller the torch, the finer the flame, and the greater the cutting precision. Universal torches are used for both cutting and welding. Naturally, not all metals can be processed using oxy-fuel cutting. Sensitive materials include:
