Accessories for Welding Helmets: Optimize Your Comfort and Safety

The welding helmet is the most iconic piece of personal protective equipment for welders, but its effectiveness and comfort often depend on the accessories that accompany it. At HD Soudage, we have selected a wide range of components and options to customize, maintain, and enhance your welding helmets, whether passive, auto-darkening, or powered air-purifying.

Visual Comfort and Precision

For tasks requiring close attention to detail, vision is essential. We offer corrective lenses (diopters) in the standard 105x50 mm format, compatible with many models such as Kapio or Navitek helmets. Available in several strengths (up to +2.50), they improve the clarity of the weld pool for optimal visual comfort.

Headgear Hygiene and Ergonomics

Proper helmet support is essential to prevent fatigue during long working sessions. Our catalog includes ergonomic memory-foam headgear, such as those for the Bollé Fusion+ model, or the ISOFIT system from Optrel, which perfectly adapts to the shape of the head. For hygiene, we provide anti-sweat headbands made of sponge or flame-retardant materials (Weldas SWEATSOpad), helping to prevent slipping and irritation caused by perspiration.

Maintenance of Powered Air Systems (PAPR)

For professionals using powered respiratory protection systems such as the Optrel e3000x, maintaining optimal performance is crucial. Here you will find all the necessary consumables:

• High-tech gas filters (A1B1E1) for maximum protection against toxic fumes and odors.
• High-capacity batteries providing up to 18 hours of autonomy.
• Air supply hoses with flame-resistant protective sleeves and shoulder harnesses for ideal weight distribution.

Enhanced Protection and Transport

The welding profession exposes equipment to harsh conditions. To extend the lifespan of your gear, we offer leather bibs and protective hoods to shield the neck and nape from sparks and spatter. For confined environments, adding a bump cap to your headgear helps prevent head injuries while remaining lightweight. Finally, for the safe transport of your electronic systems, dedicated backpacks and carrying bags are available to protect your investments when working on-site.

The HD Soudage team is available to advise you on the compatibility of these accessories with your existing equipment, ensuring long-lasting performance and uncompromised safety.
