The CARBO 4316 AC electrode with rutile coating and alloyed core is weldable in alternating current and is suitable for the joining of non-corrosive CrNi steels with low C content and of the same and similar composition grades of stabilized and unstabilized materials resistant to chemical attacks. Applied to steels of the same composition, the deposited alloy can be exposed to attack by wet corrosion up to 350°C. Stainless alloy in hot air and oxidizing gas up to 875°C. Its low carbon content excludes any intercrystalline corrosion. Deposit metal suitable for specular polishing.
