The CARBO 4332 AC, a rutile-coated electrode with alloyed core, is weldable with alternating current and suitable for joining difficult-to-weld steels and corrosion-resistant claddings. An austenitic CrNi 18/10 alloy deposit can be achieved starting from the first layer. The CARBO 4332 AC alloy is also suitable for buffer layers on clad sheets. The highly alloyed deposited metal is crack-resistant, heat-resistant, and oxidation-resistant at high temperatures up to approx. 1000°C.
