Tungsten electrode grinding and cutting
Ultima-TIG-Cut Wet Tungsten Electrode Grinder and Cutter
The Ultima-TIG-Cut grinds and cuts tungsten electrodes from 0.8 to 4 mm without removing them from the electrode holder. Adjustable angle and length settings allow repeatable preparation for TIG, robotic or orbital welding.
Grinding and Cutting in One Machine
Set the cutting length and angle to reproduce the same preparation on each electrode. Centring collets hold the electrode in place for precise longitudinal grinding.
Liquid Bath and Dust Collection
The liquid bath limits overheating during grinding. The enclosed grinding and cutting chamber includes a disposable container that collects dust for easy removal.
Adjustable Angles and Short Electrodes
The grinding angle adjusts from 7.5° to 90°, equivalent to a tip angle of 15° to 180°. The minimum electrode length is 15 mm as standard and 8 mm with special collets.
Integrated Usage Monitoring
The machine features a maintenance indicator, overload protection and a grinding counter. Its 280 W motor drives the discs at 6,000 rpm, with a grinding speed of 31 m/s.
