Tungsten electrode grinding for TIG and plasma
Ultima-TIG-S Wet Tungsten Electrode Grinder
The Ultima-TIG-S grinds tungsten electrodes from 0.8 to 8 mm in diameter. Its diamond grinding disc and liquid bath limit heat build-up during grinding, while the enclosed chamber with a dust collector helps contain grinding dust.
Liquid-Cooled Grinding
The liquid bath protects the electrode against overheating. Combined with the diamond disc, it produces a smooth surface while limiting electrode wear.
Adjustable Angle and Centred Tip
Set the grinding angle from 7.5° to 90°, equivalent to a tip angle of 15° to 180°. The electrode holder ensures centring, and the 90° setting allows a flat tip to be produced.
Enclosed Chamber with Dust Collection
The disposable container collects dust generated during grinding. This design makes dust collection easier and helps protect the operator.
Suitable for Short Electrodes
The minimum electrode length is 15 mm in the standard configuration and 8 mm with special collets. The 280 W motor drives the disc at 6,000 rpm, providing a grinding speed of 31 m/s.
