Drag-cutting and FineCut cartridges are optimized for cutting thicker metals up to 32 mm (1 1/4"). To extend cartridge life and performance, it's important to select cartridges optimized for the workpiece.
Drag-cutting and FineCut cartridges are compatible with:
- SmartSYNC™ torches for Powermax SYNC™ systems;
- Duramax® torches using a torch adapter for Powermax® systems.

With its revolutionary one-piece design, the new consumable cartridge for the Powermax® system will forever change the way you cut and gouge metal. Cartridges used on the SmartSYNC torch utilize radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology. The system automatically selects the correct amperage and process based on the type of cartridge installed.
