Portable synergic MIG/MAG, touch-start TIG and MMA

EWM Picomig 180 Synergic TKG Welder

The Picomig 180 Synergic TKG offers an adjustable current range of 5 to 180 A in a 16 kg unit. Powered by a single-phase 230 V supply, it combines single-knob control and an integrated wire feeder for on-site work, metal fabrication and maintenance.

Synergic Settings for Different Metals

Synergic curves cover steel, CrNi stainless steel and aluminium in MIG/MAG mode. The welder also supports stick welding and touch-start TIG.

4-Roll Wire Feeding and D200 Spools

The Swissfeed 4-roll drive is equipped for 0.8 and 1 mm steel wires. The compartment accepts spools up to 200 mm, and tool-free polarity changes make using self-shielded flux-cored wires easier.

Cycle Control and Performance

Adjust arc dynamics and gas pre-flow and post-flow times, and choose 2T / 4T modes or interval welding. At 40 °C, the welder delivers 180 A at 25%, 120 A at 60% and 100 A at 100% duty cycle.

Designed for On-Site Work

The robust housing has an IP23 protection rating. A mains voltage tolerance of −40% to +15% supports operation with extension cables or a generator. The 3.5 m mains cable is fitted with a 16 A safety plug.
