Description of the Sirion 405 Puls Set

Designed for professionals looking for a reliable, complete and ready-to-use installation, the Set Sirion 405 puls 5 m brings together all the components required for high-performance production: Sirion 405 puls power source, Drive 4X S wire feeder with LP-S control, Cool 55 U40 cooling module, Trolly 54-5 trolley and MIG PE W 7POL 70 mm² 450 A 5 m intermediate hose package.

This pulsed MIG/MAG multiprocess welding machine delivers an adjustment range of 5 A to 400 A, with a duty cycle of 400 A at 60% and 350 A at 100% at 40 °C. It supports welding teams in intensive work, metal assembly, industrial manufacturing, maintenance, steel construction and certified applications up to EXC2 according to EN 1090 with the WPQR package.

Thanks to its 72 synergic JOB characteristics supplied ex works, the Sirion 405 puls allows users to work without purchasing additional characteristic curves. The EWM forceArc®, forceArc® puls, rootArc® and rootArc® puls processes are integrated, with curves suitable for standard or pulsed MIG/MAG welding of steel, CrNi, aluminium and flux-cored wires. The non-synergic mode also allows precise manual adjustment of welding parameters.

The LP-S control of the Drive 4X S wire feeder provides direct access to the most commonly used settings: welding current, wire feed speed, sheet thickness, JOB number, program number and error code. Fast switching between innovative welding operating modes, without changing JOBs, saves time during every production run. The Favourites button allows frequently used configurations to be recalled quickly.

The arc dynamics can be continuously adjusted from Soft to Hard to adapt the weld pool, penetration and stability according to the material and welding position. Arc length correction, start and end crater functions, burn-back, wire inching, pre-gas time and post-gas time provide advanced control over the final quality of each weld bead.

The Cool 55 U40 cooling module allows the use of a water-cooled torch without an additional mains connection: its power supply is provided directly by the welding machine. This design reduces cable clutter, simplifies installation and improves the mobility of the complete unit on its trolley.

With its 89% efficiency and standby function, the Sirion 405 puls helps reduce power consumption. Its modular design, IP23 protection rating and compatibility with long hose packages make it a robust partner for production environments and extended work areas.

Notes

The Sirion 405 puls and Sirion 505 puls power sources are available only as kits with the listed components. The power source and wire feeder unit cannot be purchased separately, except as individual spare parts.

The length of the intermediate hose package can be selected according to the kit configuration. Other lengths can be ordered separately.

The mains voltage can be adapted by changing the operating voltage connector. This operation must be carried out by a specialist, in compliance with the applicable local laws and standards.
