EWM Phoenix XQ 400 puls DW R1 5m Welder

The Phoenix XQ 400 puls DW offers a current range of 5 to 400 A for standard and pulsed MIG/MAG, MMA, TIG and gouging. At 40 °C, it delivers 400 A at an 80% duty cycle and 370 A at 100% for sustained industrial work.

Synergic Control and Included Characteristic Curves

Single-knob control simplifies adjustment, with all characteristic curves suited to the power source supplied as standard. Non-Synergic mode allows manual adjustment, with customisable programmes for each JOB and start and end crater control.

Standard and Pulsed EWM Processes

The welder includes rootArc® XQ, rootArc® puls XQ, forceArc® XQ, forceArc® puls XQ, Impuls, superPuls and Positionweld for aluminium. Synergic curves cover steel, CrNi stainless steel, aluminium and flux-cored wires.

Separate Wire Feeder and Consistent Feeding

The Drive XQ / Drive XQ IC 200 wire feeder uses an eFeed 4-roll drive for solid and flux-cored wires, from 0.5 to 25 m/min. The power source maintains arc stability when working with long cable assemblies.

Integrated Liquid Cooling

The cooling system provides 1,500 W at 1 l/min, with a 3.5-bar pump and an 8-litre tank. The flexFit housing makes it easy to add accessories, and the LED bar indicates operating status.
