The integrated EWM Synergic rootArc® XQ, forceArc® XQ and superPuls processes support modern industrial welding demands: controlled penetration, stable arc behaviour, reduced spatter and a smooth weld pool. The system also includes Synergic curves for standard GMAW welding of steel, CrNi, aluminium and flux-cored wires.
For welders who prefer full manual control, the non-Synergic mode allows direct adjustment of welding parameters. Programs can be set individually by JOB, with adjustable start and end crater functions. The infinitely adjustable arc dynamics allow precise tuning of inductance behaviour according to material, wire, gas and joint configuration.
This Taurus XQ 400 model performs very well with long welding hose packages. It maintains clean and repeatable MIG/MAG welds, even when the workstation layout requires extended cable lengths. Its high-precision 4-roll drive with powerful EWM eFeed technology ensures secure feeding of solid and flux-cored wires.
The flexFit casing system makes it easy to attach accessories and options using standard sliders. The LED information bar provides a clear view of the current operating status. Welding polarity can be changed quickly without tools, while the insulated wire compartment supports reliable daily operation.
The cooling system is built for productivity: 1500 W cooling capacity, high-performance centrifugal pump, 3.5 bar pump pressure and an 8-litre coolant tank. This design helps protect the torch and reduce wear part costs.
With 90 % efficiency, standby function and IP23 splash water protection, this welding generator is ready for demanding industrial environments. It can be connected to a remote control, a functional torch, PC300 XQ software via PC interface, and optionally to ewm Xnet software via integrated or external gateway.
