EWM Taurus XQ 400 Synergic DW R1 5m Welder

The Taurus XQ 400 Synergic offers an adjustment range of 5 to 400 A for MIG/MAG, MMA, TIG and gouging. At 40 °C, it delivers 400 A at an 80% duty cycle and 370 A at 100% to support production and industrial maintenance work.

Synergic Control and Included Characteristic Curves

Single-knob control simplifies adjustment using compatible characteristic curves supplied as standard. Non-Synergic mode allows manual adjustment, with customisable parameters for each JOB and start and end crater control.

Integrated EWM Processes

rootArc® XQ, forceArc® XQ and superPuls functions allow the welding process to be adapted to the assembly. Synergic curves are available for steel, CrNi stainless steel, aluminium and flux-cored wires, with adjustable arc dynamics.

EWM eFeed 4-Roll Wire Feed

The high-precision drive provides consistent feeding of solid and flux-cored wires from 0.5 to 25 m/min. The power source is designed to maintain a stable arc with long welding cable assemblies.

Cooling and Expandable Equipment

The cooling system provides 1,500 W at 1 l/min, with a 3.5-bar pump and an 8-litre tank. The flexFit housing makes it easy to add accessories, while the LED bar indicates operating status.
