Localised welding fume capture
PLYMOVENT Flex 3/4 Extraction Arm — 3 or 4 Metres
The PLYMOVENT Flex arm positions fume capture close to welding, cutting and grinding operations. Available in 3- or 4-metre lengths, it combines a rotating Rotahood hood and an EasyLift friction system for easy adjustment. This product is supplied without a flexible hose.
Rotating Rotahood Hood
The hood can be directed towards the fume source. Its butterfly valve can be opened fully or partially to adjust airflow at the hood inlet.
EasyLift-Assisted Positioning
The EasyLift friction system makes the arm easier to move and position. It allows the capture point to be adjusted to suit different workpieces and changes in the work area.
For Use with the FAN-28 Fan
The stated airflow range for the arm is 600–1,600 m³/h. The Flex can be paired with the FAN-28 fan; it does not generate suction on its own and requires a suitable extraction system.
Two Available Lengths
The arm has a diameter of 203 mm. The 3-metre version weighs 15 kg, while the 4-metre version weighs 17 kg. The tube and hood are made from UV-stabilised polypropylene copolymer.
