Professional Pulsed AC/DC TIG

EWM Tetrix XQ 230 puls AC/DC Comfort 3.0 5P

The Tetrix XQ 230 combines pulsed AC/DC TIG and MMA welding for working with aluminium, steel and stainless steel. Powered by a single-phase 230 V supply, it offers a current range of 3 to 230 A and a modular design prepared for adding a compatible water cooling unit.

Arc Control

Pulsed TIG helps control heat input during welding. The activArc® and spotArc® functions enhance weld pool control and enable repeatable spot welds.

Performance on a 230 V Supply

At 40 °C on a 230 V supply, the duty cycle reaches 230 A at 40%, 200 A at 60% and 170 A at 100%, supporting both intermittent and extended welding operations.

Ready for Water Cooling

The factory-prepared connection allows a compatible cooling unit to be added. The module draws power directly from the welding power source, without an additional mains connection.

Built for Workshop and Site Work

The impact-resistant casing, IP23 protection and on-demand fan cooling support everyday operations. The machine also accepts a 110–120 V supply at reduced output, or power from a suitable generator.
