The Tetrix XQ 230 puls AC/DC Comfort 3.0 5P represents a new generation of modular TIG AC/DC welding inverters. Designed for professional welding environments, it combines modern inverter stability, advanced arc control and a rugged build suited to fabrication, maintenance, pipework, metalworking and aluminium applications.
Its 3 A to 230 A welding current range gives operators the flexibility to work on thin materials as well as higher-power assemblies. In TIG AC/DC, TIG DC and pulsed TIG modes, the arc remains precise, stable and responsive. activArc® and spotArc® support controlled heat input, repeatable tack welds and high-quality bead appearance.

The cooling module is powered directly by the welding machine, so no additional mains connection is required for the cooler. The LED status bar uses colours to indicate the current operating state, giving the operator fast visual feedback. The rugged housing with impact-resistant plastic cover protects the machine during transport and intensive daily use. The temperature and speed-controlled cooling fan reduces contamination and noise by operating only when required.
Rugged, mobile and ready for connected welding
With IP23 protection, the Tetrix XQ 230 puls AC/DC Comfort 3.0 5P is protected against spray water. It is suitable for generator operation, even with long mains cables, and offers high mains voltage tolerance for demanding field conditions. A consumables compartment in the handle keeps torch wear parts protected and within easy reach.
For connected welding environments, the unit can be linked as an option to ewm Xnet software via LAN or Wi-Fi gateway. This supports structured welding management, documentation and traceability.
